For over 36 years, Neil has handled thousands of matrimonial matters. He is a seasoned trial lawyer who is well-known for his aggressive courtroom style. Even though he has taken countless cases to trial and has been successful, his main goal is to reach an out of court settlement that is not taxing financially and emotionally to the client. His expertise extends from complex financial cases to difficult custody cases. His has experience in courts through a six county area, including Cook County, Lake County, Will County, McHenry County, Kane County and DuPage County. He is a respected professional in Illinois Domestic Relations and Paternity courts.

The most outstanding feature of Neil’s practice is that he runs his office like that of an old time family doctor. To accommodate his clients, he will set up appointments in the early hours of the morning, late hours in the evening and all hours of the weekend. In addition, he does not hesitate to meet with clients at out of office locations if it is convenient to their schedule. He has done this throughout his career and will continue to do so as long as it aids in reducing the stress each client experiences.

Neil graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign, with Honors in 1972 and graduated from Chicago Kent College of Law with Honors in 1976. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association. In November 2009, he was honored with the award of Top Lawyers in Illinois, Family Related Lawyers, which puts him in the top 5 percent of practicing attorneys.
